Best of Show

The Michael Hansen Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Best of Show winner. Michael Hansen was a Nationally ranked BJCP judge and one of the early THIRSTY members. He was instrumental in developing the THIRSTY Classic.

Awards

  1. Winners will receive ribbons for first, second, and third place in each style category.
  2. Judges are solely responsible for determining whether an entry is deserving of a ribbon.
  3. The THIRSTY Classic Committee will combine categories and/or subcategories as necessary to maintain competition integrity.
  4. In general, we will require that there be at least six entries in a category before we award a full set of ribbons.
  5. The THIRSTY Classic Committee will also award a distinctive Best of Show prize, the Michael Hansen memorial trophy.
  6. The BOS round will consist of the entries taking 1st place in each category.
  7. All decisions of the judges, competition staff, and organizer will be final, without exception.

Best of Show will be announced following final judging session

Score sheets and awards will be shipped following the competition.
